I-Pi SMARC IMX8M Plus has been certified Arm SystemReady IR and PSA Level 1
I-Pi SMARC IMX8M Plus AIoT prototyping platform gets Arm System Ready IR v1.1 (level 0) and PSA Level 1 certification
The I-Pi SMARC IMX8M Plus devkit has been certified Arm SystemReady IR, ensuring Arm-based embedded IoT systems are designed to specific requirements, for certain operating systems to work out of the box. On the other hand, PSA Certified Level 1 provides independent assurance of security best practice, so you have a security audit and evidence-base to show security due diligence.
Arm System Ready IR
SystemReady IR-certified platforms implement a minimum set of hardware and firmware features that an operating system can depend on to deploy the operating system image. Compliant systems must conform to the following specifications: Arm Base System Architecture (BSA) specification, Embedded Base Boot Requirements (EBBR), EBBR recipe of the Arm Base Boot Requirements (BBR) specification, and Device Tree specification.
PSA Certified
PSA Certified offers a framework for securing connected devices, from analysis through to security assessment and certification. The framework provides standardized resources to help resolve the growing fragmentation of IoT requirements and ensure security is no longer a barrier to product development.
