Hello everyone -
I am new both to this forum and to doing work with this sort of thing.
My supervisor purchased three “COM Express Type 7 Ryzen V3000” development boards. Linked here: https://www.ipi.wiki/products/com-express-type7-ryzen-v3000?variant=44433193074850
There do not seem to be any installation instructions or manuals for this version. The only manual I can find is for the “Type 7 Ryzen V3000 + IPMI”, linked here: https://www.ipi.wiki/pages/type-7-ryzen-v3000-ipmi-docs?page=index.html
Could someone please link me to the correct manual or send the correct manual to me so that I can proceed with development?
I have the hardware assembled and powered.
Apologies for where this is posted; I was unable to post this under the correct topic for some reason.

Hi there,@Adrian Walker ,
1.) In the link you've provided there might be an error in the hardware specs/Module introduction:
| Processor |
Cores/Threads |
Cache |
TDP |
Graphics |
| V3C48 |
8C/16T |
16GB |
45W |
Iris Xe GPU |
| V3C18I |
8C/16T |
16GB |
15W |
Iris Xe GPU |
This is a ryzen embedded Soc without any gpu. So what's Iris Xe GPU means here?
2.) What are the exact manufacturer/model in the SFP and the copper version of the NICs?
3.) No stock for the copper version?
4.) Installation can be done only with an external pcie video card? Or is it possible with the module: AST2600 BMC based BMC module (RunBMC-AST2600) ? Do you have a more detailed installation instruction?
5.) Can you confirm that the AST2600 BMC is part of the kit? Nothing is being mentioned in the link you've provided
6.) Is a memory limitation being done by UEFI bios in your carrier board? I'm asking because I can't find the SoC's limit in the official AMD official product brief (https://www.amd.com/content/dam/amd/en/documents/products/embedded/ryzen/ryzen-embedded-v3000-series-product-brief.pdf)
So what is the max ECC memory and what is the max non-ECC memory? And is there a compatibility list for ram modules? Meaning the board might have memory compatibility issues?
Thanks and regards,
