Hi Julien,
Sorry for the trouble.
the ethtool command was activated now, could you please downoad the below URL and check again. you can also check with dmesg command to check if the ethernet link is ready or not
Hope this can help. Thank you
@Allumallu Susmitha thanks for your answer, however, it still doesn't work and I don't have access to the terminal anymore
Could you please tell us briefly, i think there might be some problems in flashing the image, can you send us screenshots, so we will look into your problem and solve it for you. Thank you
Hi, Please check the below screenshot,
Hope you can send us your log file with dmesg command to check the issue. Could you also send the serial number of your Hardware. Thank you
@Allumallu Susmitha I reflashed twice with the new Ubuntu image, considering I can't launch a terminal with ctrl + alt + t, I can't run sudo dmesg.
Hi Julien,
Have you tried other options like right click and select the option "open a new terminal"
or you can go Activities in the top left corner and type terminal in the search bar. We have also tested ctrl+alt+t. its working at our side.
Please send us your kit details, like the module and carrier serial numbers, to verify the Hardware.
Thank you. Have a good day
Julien,
The carrier and module have both a sticker with serial number, could you write those down and post them here? In case you have A1 hardware we will have to swich your module.
As we did not start shipping from the shop yet I suspect you have a pre-release part in your hands
@Henri Parmentier
On the module :
KAE8EA1006
LEC-iMX-8MP-Q-N-2G-32G-CT
DEV-0034808
On the carrier board :
KBC7EA1009
@Allumallu Susmitha we tried those options. You'll find my hardware serial numbers.
Hi Julien,
I guess this Image should work with your Hardware and we have updated all our software documents, Please let us know, if your problem is solved. Thank you
Hi @Allumallu Susmitha,
Terminal is back and ethernet connection works.
Could you send me the source code of the Yocto project, please ?
Best regards
Julien
Actually, there is still a problem, it's not stable at all. I worked once.
There's another problem, /lib/modules doesn't exist, so we can't load any module, it might be the source of the problem.
Hi Julien.
the carrier is final production version, but the module you have is an A1 engineering sample, I would disadvise continuing efforts on this part. Please get in touch with your sales representative to get final A2 hardware which will work without any issues
